Our last Ofsted Inspection was in May 2016. It was a 'short inspection' since we were judged to be a good school overall back in October 2011.

Once again, we were pleased to find that Tenacres continues to be judged as a good school.

Some comments from the report include:

  • The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school.
  • Staff have created a nurturing and supportive culture where every pupil is valued and their individual needs are well catered for.
  • Parents are overwhelmingly positive about the good quality of education and care their children receive.
  • Pupils enjoy school.
  • Pupils make good progress as they move through the school.
  • Governors are committed to supporting and challenging the leadership team.
  • Teaching is good across the school.
  • Pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to learning.
