Following on from my earlier text message confirming the positive PCR result Class 1D and staff will now self -isolate until Friday 16th July being the 10th and last day. Should your child develop any of the COVID symptoms please book a PCR test. Once a symptom has developed LFD test kits are not to be used. Please contact the school should your child receive a positive result.
Class 1D will now revert to ‘remote learning’ which Mrs Dearden is promising will be ‘fun’! Please check your child’s SEESAW login and if there are any issues please email Mrs Dearden rb324@tenacres.worcs.sch.uk
If you require a device please send an email to myself head@tenacres.worcs.sch.uk and we can arrange a loan of a laptop until your child returns on Monday 19th July. Mrs Dearden has also uploaded new books for all on Phonic Bug Club.
If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals please contact myself via email if you like a food hamper ordered which can be arranged for collection from school.
The school trip has been rearranged for Tuesday 20th July. This will be for both 1D and 1W.
Annual reports for 1D will now be sent home on Monday 19th July. We will also ensure that they will meet their new class teachers (Mrs Duffy and Mrs Hirst) before the end of the school year (Wednesday 21st July).
It goes without saying that we will miss all of 1D and Mrs Dearden during this closure. Mrs Dearden, will be in daily contact with the children.
