FSM VOUCHERS FOR HOLIDAY PERIODS
As you will be aware if your child/ren are eligible for income based Free School Meals they have previously received a voucher for the school holiday periods which has been funded by the Government
Schools have just been informed by the Local Authority that the criteria for funding vouchers during the holiday period had been changed to include help and support for other groups of the population.
What does this mean?
- Grant is now only available to support FSM children for 2 weeks of the school holiday
- Worcestershire has taken the strategic decision to fund only 2 weeks to cover the summer holidays
- This means that FSM vouchers will not be available for this half term – w/b 30/05/2022
