Event - Year 4 Become Police Cadets

Our Year 4 children have spent time this term being Police Cadets with the West Mercia Police Force.

The after school programme is aimed at educating children on the different roles and duties the Police carry out. This contributes to our British Values curriculum which focuses on being a responsible citizen and understanding the Rule of Law. In addition, it also demonstrates to our children possible roles in society in the future they may want to pursue.

Each week has been a different focus including the day to day duties of an officer, being a Forensic Officer, Police dog handler and exploring the Police vehicles.
