After an unprecedented time since March 20th, the end of this academic year is here.  Thank you for the support from our families over these past few months.  Thank you to all the Staff and the Governors.  It was important for us to give every child the opportunity to come back if their circumstances allowed.  I am so proud of all the children that have returned as they have been delightful to have back, retaining a great sense of humour and a resilience that has been fantastic to see.  We are also really looking forward to seeing every child return on Thursday 3rd September 2020.

As it stands the plan is to return to normality. All children in Years 1,2,3 and 4 will return on the 3rd.  Our new Reception starters are having transition time and fully start with us on Monday 21st September.  We will maintain the extended drop of times in the morning from 8.40am to 9.00am for all Year Groups. Attendance expectations resume as normal. Children, as normal are expected to wear their uniform.

Our hot dinner providers will be back in full operation and normal routines for ordering meals also resume.  Meals are ordered via Parent Pay with your child’s log in code.  Our new Reception starters will be given details about this before the 21st September.

Children in Years 1,2,3 and 4 will enter school from the lower playground and I will ensure we have class markings on the playground so you know where your child will enter school from if they are unsure.

I am accessing my emails throughout the holiday so if you need to contact with any questions please use head@tenacres.worcs.sch.uk.

Good luck to our amazing Year 4 Leaver’s.  You have made us very proud on your journey with us since Reception or when you joined us at Tenacres.  I know you will continue to do so at Middle School.

I wish everybody a relaxing and safe summer break and see you all in September.

Best wishes
